The most successful Kenyan band, Sauti Sol has been trending this week since their performance at the State House dinner event hosted by President Uhuru Kenyatta, in honor of President Obama’s visit to Kenya last weekend.

Although some people may have thought the band was paid millions for the performance, but the truth is the opposite.

According to Ghafla Kenya, the band was paid 0.00 shillings for their performance, in other words they earned nothing in terms of money.

Come to think of it, despite earning nothing but the mileage they got is enough to open new gates to the International markets for them.
